It’s that time of year again here in beautiful Cali when zucchini crops are abundant. My neighbors have transformed their 3/4 acre property into a sustainable garden, in which they grow a plethora of vegetables, fruit, and berries. Our properties sit against the foothills, so growing a garden without interference from the creatures who also reside here, is no small feat. As luck would have it, they usually have more zucchini than they can use and they know what a zucchini lover I am. Plus, I make them zucchini bread. Winning and winning.

My love of zucchini bread started because of Green Street’s famous zucchini bread which they serve alongside my favorite Diane Salad. Honestly, the best bread in the entire universe.
